1. Check your computer’s network interface card (NIC) is properly connected.
2. Make sure your router is connected to a working outlet and is powered on.
3. Check that your router is properly configured and its settings are correct.
4. Check that the Ethernet cable is connected securely to both the router and the NIC.
5. Verify that your computer’s IP address is set to “Obtain an IP address automatically”.
6. Check for any loose connections between the router and your computer.
7. Restart your computer and see if the Ethernet connection is working now.
8. If the Ethernet connection is still not working, you may need to update your NIC drivers. You can download the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
