1. Connect to the console port of the switch.
2. Power up the switch.
3. When prompted, press the ESC key to enter ROMMON mode.
4. Enter the command ‘delete flash:’ to delete all files from the flash memory.
5. When prompted, enter the command ‘reload’ to reset the switch to the factory default settings.
6. After the reload is complete, you can log in to the switch using the default username and password (username: cisco, password: cisco).
