1. Go to the Start Menu, then select Control Panel.
2. Select Network and Sharing Center.
3. Select Change adapter settings.
4. Select the Local Area Connection icon.
5. Select Properties.
6. Select the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
7. Select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.
8. Click OK.
9. Your computer is now connected to the Ethernet network.
