1. Disconnect the router from power and any other devices that are connected to it, then wait 20–30 seconds before reconnecting.
2. Check if there is a working internet connection from another device plugged into the same network. If there is no working connection, your router may be the problem.
3. Reset the router using the reset button located on the underside of the router. After resetting, check to see if the router can detect the internet connection.
4. If the connection is still not working, try changing the router‘s channel or the wireless security settings.
5. Lastly, if all else fails, it‘s possible that your router is bad and should be replaced.
